Our Building Process

1. Consult and Contract Period

When you schedule your appointments with us, our team will work with you to outline what you are looking for in a home and provide a cost breakdown of each item on your list. Once agreed upon, we will sign a contract and begin this exciting new journey together!

2. Home Design

Our design team will draw up the blueprints of your home and work regularly with you to perfect your home’s size, layout, flow and each room.

3. Interior Design Meetings

Included in your new home build are several interior design meetings for you to pick out the detailed pieces of your new home—from flooring, lighting and cabinetry to hardware and paint colors. We want to ensure you love every detail of your home!

4. Permitting

Once details are finalized, we will submit all information about your new home to the county for permitting. This process can sometimes take 1-2 months, so patience is required. Our team will check in periodically with the county to keep them on task and update you once complete.

 

5. Foundation/Framing/Build

We will update you during the building process. You can also schedule regular appointments to see your home’s progress first-hand. Timeframe varies widely based on your home’s specifications, but we will answer your questions throughout the process.

6. Final Walkthrough

Before closing and moving in, we give you the opportunity to walk through your new home build and create a punch list of items that we may have overlooked or are not meeting your standards. We will then work diligently to accommodate your requests per your contract and complete them.

7. County Approval

The county ensures your home’s safety and completion. After inspection, they provide a Certificate of Occupancy and you’re able to experience the last stage of the home building process…

8. Move-In!

The grand finale to your journey with our team. We provide a home warranty, so you can have peace of mind as you enjoy your new home.
